David & Lisa are Scotland's number one and are known for their fun but Intense classes & workshops, we teach all over the uk and
compete in wcs also.
Recent achievements for us was placing 2nd in open strictly swing at world swing masters in Blackpool.
All levels of dancers are welcome at any of our workshop's & classes,

Classes are rotated frequently and most of all it is in a
very fun & friendly atmosphere.

West Coast Swing around the UK
We have taught & demonstrated West Coast Swing for some of the UK's Leading dance organisations.
West Coast Swing (WCS) is a partner dance derived from Lindy Hop.
It is characterised by a distinctive elastic look that results from its basic extension
compression technique of partner connection, and is danced primarily in a slot.
The dance allows for both partners to improvise steps while dancing together.
The follower travels back and forth along a shoulder-width rectangle, (called the slot) with respect to the leader.

WHAT IS WEST COAST SWING??
The leader is more stationary but will move in and out of the slot depending on the pattern led.
A general rule is that the leader leaves the slot only to give way for the follower to pass him.
Typically the follower walks into new patterns traveling forward on counts "1" and "2" of each basic pattern
and the Anchor step is a common ending of each basic pattern on counts "5" and "6".
West Coast Swing can be danced to a variety of music such as, Blues, Rock n' Roll, RnB, Hip Hop, Funk and Pop.
It is generally a very smooth and stylish dance.
